Becky Jaraiz is a Spanish visual artist, painter, and curator, with a degree in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. She further enhanced her academic credentials in Münster before making her way to Berlin. In this city, she has had the opportunity to showcase her work at various esteemed art centers and institutions, where she thoughtfully engages with themes of identity, migration, and gender. Her artwork addresses significant issues such as structural violence and power dynamics while reflecting on the coexistence of contradictions.

Jaraiz favours mediums including ink, acrylic, and oil, employing an artistic style characterized by overlays and dynamic brushstrokes that navigate the realms of abstraction and figuration.
In 2019, she contributed her illustrative talents to the documentaries “Ausencias” by Alicia Elero and “What the hell is going on?” by Marta Jaenes and Rosa Márquez.
Furthermore, she has actively participated in cultural projects, initiated the art collective Pussart, and curated notable exhibitions such as “Boys will be Boys,” “Abstand,” “Pusstopia,” and “Not Your Marilyn,” and, “Unsichtbar,” an upcoming exhibition at the Humbolt University.
